How Does The Northern Light Tour Operate?

Intimate Groups

Each tour accommodates only 8 guests max, along with a tour guide, your dedicated aurora guide. We journey together in a single van, rather than in a convoy of tourist buses. I intentionally steer clear of the crowded spots near Rovaniemi where the majority of large tours congregate. Instead, we venture deep into the wilderness, heading towards locations where the sky expands, allowing the auroras to reveal their enchanting display.

Schedule & Duration 

Tour length: 4 to 12 hours
Departure: Between 16:00–19:00, depending on how far we need to go
Return: Most often between 01:00 and 05:00
You’ll receive the exact departure time on the day.

Pick Up

We will pick you up in Rovaniemi centre + 10 km area within. We cannot not pick you up if you are staying in other areas in Lapland.
